BIBLIOTECA COMUNALE "P. ORIOLI"
Formerly dedicated to Vincenzo Monti, since the ‘90s Alfonsine’s municipal library has been named after Pino Orioli, a local native in the business of antique books and publishing, who lived in Florence and in London in the early part of the XX century. The library is part of the national network and has an interesting collection of Italian and foreign fiction, cinema, photography, children and youngsters fiction.

BIBLIOTECA DELL'ISTITUTO STORICO DELLA RESISTENZA
The library of the Historical Institute of Resistance holds more than 12,000 items; its collection is constantly being implemented with acquisitions of books, such as those used in the contemporary history faculty of the University of Bologna, Ravenna and Forlì, as well as books printed before 1960 and volumes about military issues printed in various languages. The library focuses on local and national issues related to Fascism, Nazism, World War II, Antifascism. There is also a special focus on Shoah, new right wing movements, Europe, public use of history and various other topics.
The library is part of the national network and offers interlibrary loan free of charge. The collection also includes history books about the past 60 years and the newspaper and magazines section, all of which are being constantly implemented with new acquisitions.
