ETNOPARCO VILLANOVA DELLE CAPANNE
The ethnographic museum of Villanova ('Ecomuseo della Civiltà Palustre') has been active into the field of ethnographic research for more than twenty years, and is now opening an open air museum display in the garden of the former school of Villanova.
The display exhibits the typical huts that, in the past, used to be very popular in the landscape of this area.
The huts of the museum include all the main types of traditional huts (for boats, animals, tools and domestic purposes) and they have been built according to the original building techniques and with the original materials.
