BIBLIOTECA "G. TARONI"
The municipal library "G.Taroni" is one of the richest and most important minor libraries in Romagna. Located inside the cultural centre "Le Cappuccine", it preserves codes, incunabula, rare documents and several fifteenth century texts; moreover it owns more than 72.000 volumes, of which about 27.870 are part of the historical archive. Beside the municipal archive, the library houses also funds and archives of the oldest charity associations (ECA and Opere Pie Raggruppate).

Villanova public library opened in 1985 and it is considered a branch of "G. Taroni" library.
It counts about 3000 volumes on loan and on reference. They are divided into sections: children books, adult books, on reference, local and magazines. The section dedicated to Antifascism and Resistence has been made possible thanks to the donations of Mr Bandoli and Mr. Placci and it is worth of a particular mention. The service is run by an operator from "Taroni" library and by a group of volunteers. From here it is possible to search within the local library network SBN.
