MUSEO ARTISTICO VAROLI - VAROLI ART MUSEUM

MUSEO ARTISTICO VAROLI - VAROLI ART MUSEUM

The art museum named after Luigi Varoli has four sections: one is the art scholl "Scuola Arte e Mestieri", the second is Varoli's house "Casa Varoli", the third Arialdo Magnani's house Varoli's pupil and the last part is located inside Palazzo Sforza. The museum is dedicated to the local artist Luigi Varoli (1889-1958), who had a strong influence on many local artists.

The masterpieces of the artist are displayed in the art gallery of Palazzo Sforza.
Beside paintings, this was Varoli's most beloved technique, the art gallery houses also huge papier-màchè heads, depicting in a funny way some odd local persons of the time, and several wooden and clay sculptures.
