FATTORIA DIDATTICA AZIENDA " EMILIO DONATI"
This farm is located in the countryside of Lugo and has a typical rural house; the ancestors of the family that runs the farm have been living in this house for about 250 years. The farm is renown in the area for its passion and care in animal breeding.
The didactic route foresees: the illustration of animal breeding techniques, various species of game and first aid knowledge on how to help injured wild animals.
The project 'Fattorie Didattiche' (didactic farms) brings together farms and farmers of the province of Ravenna that operate with environment friendly policies and/or biologic farming since a long time. The project focuses on the importance of healthy food, respect for the environment and for the traditional features of the area. Most farms are family run and they all follow ethical rules of respect for the individual and for the environment. The didactic farms represent an active hands-on workshop for compulsory school students.

How to get there
From Bagnacavallo, travel towards S.Potito up to via Fiumazzo, then turn right in via Lunga Inferiore. From Lugo, on via Fiumazzo, soon after the village of Ascensione, turn right at the crossing with five roads.
Open on: all year round, from June to September for schools. We recommend to phone and agree on the visit
