CYCLING ITINERARY IN THE LAND OF THE FINE LIVING
On May 26th 2013 bicycle lovers shouldn’t miss the itinerary at the discovery of the art, history and nature of Bassa Romagna. It will include stop-overs with guided tours, visits to local fairs and tastings.
May 26 the itinerary starts at 9.00 at Parco del Loto in Lugo

Primavera d’intorno, brilla nell’aria ed esulta nei campi... this is a relaxing cycling itinerary through Bassa Romagna, at the discovery of its Spring colours and perfumes.
The itinerary is 42km and goes through the municipalities of Lugo, Bagnacavallo, Cotignola and Bagnara. Participants can join the group at any point throughout the itinerary.
The start is at 9.00 at Parco del Loto in Lugo and the itinerary goes through Bagnacavallo, Traversara (with stop at the 14th century tower), Boncellino (with a stop at 10.45 for a snack offered by the local community), Cotignola (along canal Naviglio and with a stop at Parco Pertini at 12.30 for picnic), Barbiano, Villa San Marino and then back to the starting point via the ancient mills’ canal. At Parco del Loto participants will be offered a guided tour of the park and a tasting of local produce.
The event is organised in collaboration with Associazione Cicloguide; it is free and open to all but reservations are welcome in order to ensure better logistics.
