The natural reserve Podere Pantaleone will be open from April 7th to October 6th 2019, with guided tours, too.

"Podere Pantaleone" is a natural reserve for environmental re-balance and it covers about six hectares of territory. Because they didn't undertake modern agronomic systems, those fields became an "island" which preservs a high natural value and also a historical meaning as landscape.

The estate looks like a wood in which former fields, once cultivated in the traditional shapes typical of Romagna, are sorrounded by thick bushes. Flora and fauna preserve, at the same time, agricultural aspects and characteristics of the ancient woods which used to cover those lowland of the Po river area. It's worth of mention the presence of wild sword-lilies, of wild tulips and a group of owls which settled here.

The journey goes through paths along the abandoned rows of trees which used to be farmed, along the pond, beside the biological farmed area, near the turtles pen (guided tours upon request).
