ASCENSIONE

This small village lies along the ancient via Fiumazzo, which is dotted with various old churches and oratories, amongst which the one in Ascensione, which dates back to the XVI century.

In the XIX century Ascensione hosted a popular inn, where people used to stop for refreshments on their way to opera shows at the theatre in Lugo.
Today there is still a typical restaurant serving local food just next to the church built in 1534.
