FATTORIA DIDATTICA "ARTEMISIA" di Graziella Giovanniello
The farm holiday Artemisia is located in the green countryside between Ravenna and Russi. It is housed in a traditional rural house and there are barnyard animals. Guests will enjoy home made bread (baked in a wood oven), organic products, handicrafts.
The didactic journey foresees: the explanation of the various uses of ashes in everyday life in the past; organic farming practice; weather forecasting based on the observation of the environment; barnyard animals and cooking lessons.
The project 'Fattorie Didattiche' (didactic farms) brings together farms and farmers of the province of Ravenna that operate with environment friendly policies and/or biologic farming since a long time. The project focuses on the importance of healthy food, respect for the environment and for the traditional features of the area. Most farms are family run and they all follow ethical rules of respect for the individual and for the environment. The didactic farms represent an active hands-on workshop for compulsory school students.

How to get there
Exit the highway A14 in Ravenna and then take the main road S.S. S. Vitale on the direction towards Faenza-Russi. The farm is just 2km away.
