ECOMUSEO DELLA CIVILTA' PALUSTRE
The centre exhibits a rich collection of preindustrial manufactures realized with marsh grass, willow and poplar wood.
The Centre is divided into five sections, it includes also a meeting room, a small pound and a permanent exhibition dedicated to games and toys of the past.
Services offered by the meseum: guided visits with audiovisual aids, school visits and teaching sessions upon request, group visits upon request, didactic workshops.
The ethnographic museum of Villanova ('Ecomuseo della Civiltà Palustre') has also an open air museum display in the garden of the former school of Villanova, the Etnoparco "Villanova delle capanne". The display exhibits the typical huts that, in the past, used to be very popular in the landscape of this area.

How to get there
7 km far from Bagnacavallo, on the direction towards Ravenna. Car and bus park. Partially accessible to disabled.
Free entry: for the visit of both the museum and the ethnographic park
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, 9.30 - 13.30; first Sunday of March, April and May, 9.30 - 18.00; second Sunday of September and October, 9.30 - 18.00. On call: Thursday, 9.30 - 13.30 and 14.30 - 18.30; Friday, 9.30 - 13.30. Guided tours all the year around upon request
