Festival Internazionale del Folklore

From August 1st to 8th, squares of towns of Bassa Romagna become meeting points of "past and present". Representatives of many countries meet and celebrate their folk traditions, music and dances.

Folk groups taking part to the Festival this year come from: Colombia, Georgia, Italy (Burgos - Sardegna), Peru, Russia.

PROGRAMME of the performances in Russi

August 1 Introduction of the foreign groups,Parco Berlinguer at 21.00.
August 4 Opening of the Festival with Gruppo Canterini "Città di Russi" and groups performances, at 21.00.
August 5 Groups parade, at 10.30; groups performances, at 21.00.
August 6 Tastings of typical dishes, Piazza Farini at 21.00.

Festival takes place also:
- Conselice, August 2 (Peru and Russia)
- Riolo Terme, August 2 and 3 (Colombia and Georgia, Peru and Russia)
- Alfonsine, August 3 and 8 (Colombia and Georgia, Peru and Russia)
- Fusignano, August 7 (Colombia and Russia)

The programme could be changed.
