Bagnacavallo: ANTICO CONVENTO DI SAN FRANCESCO
The monastery of S. Francesco dates back to the XIII century and it's the oldest monastery of Bagnacavallo. It's a very large building which comprises the church and the monastery itself; the latter includes the remarkable refectory, now named "Sala Oriani", the cloister and the youth hostel "Ostello della Gioventù".
Bagnacavallo: CONVENTO DI SAN GIOVANNI
This old convent located in the heart of the town still houses Capuchin nuns that live in complete seclusion. The complex includes the convent, the church and a wide inner garden.
Bagnacavallo: EX-CONVENTO DELLE SUORE CAPUCCINE
The building now host the town cultural centre named after "Le Capuccine" and it includes, on the ground floor, the municipal library, the collection of prints and engravings "Gabinetto delle Stampe", the historical archives and the natural history museum, while the first floor of the building hosts the museum with artworks spanning from the XV century to the present.
Lugo: SANTUARIO DELLA BEATA VERGINE DEL MOLINO
The facade of the church, dating back to XVII century, looks on the main road to Bologna. After the decay of trades with Ferrara, this road became the most important commercial guideline.
Bagnara Di Romagna: SANTUARIO DELLA BEATA VERGINE DEL SOCCORSO
The Sanctuary was begun in 1766 upon design of the achitect Cosimo Morelli and inaugurated in 1770. From the following year, the traditional processions with Our Lady image started; they were called "Rogazioni".
Alfonsine: SANTUARIO DELLA MADONNA DEL BOSCO
The sanctuary, important pilgrimage destination, preserves a XVI century ceramic image of the Virgin and 46 votive printings dated XVIII and XIX century. The sanctuary is located in an area that formerly was covered by woods. According to the tradition several miracles happened here.
Massa Lombarda: SANTUARIO DELLA MADONNA DELLA CONSOLAZIONE
The Sanctuary was built between 1794 and 1813 under the supervision of the architect Zaccaria Facchini. Beside it, you find the municipal cemetery.
